Product Name

Lauren ( Plant Patent #10,610 )

This summer red raspberry comes out of the combined breeding programs of MD/NJ/VA/WI. It is a good-flavored, early-season variety whose large size is similar to Titan's. Lauren is reported to have better resistance to Phytophthora root rot and 20% higher yield than its parent, Titan. Response from growers who have tested Lauren indicate that they are pleased with the large quantities of uniform, high-quality fruit and with its long fruiting season. Lauren has shown moderate to good winter hardiness to date. We suggest spacing plants 22" to 24" apart in a row.
