These plants have grown great and come back year after year. Sweet fruit.

09/05/2022I bought 25 of the Anne raspberries in the spring of 2021. It was the first raspberries I had ever planted. The directions for planting were very good. When your bare root plants arrive you soak them in a bucket of water with Agri- gel. The tiny little beads expand with water and stick all throughout the roots of the plant. This helps to maintain moisture at the roots. It really works! Every one of my raspberries grew and even produced a little the first year! They all made it through the upstate NY winter and look beautiful this year! I cut mine down so I get just one nice harvest in the fall. Berries are large, firm and so sweet! I highly recommend these!

I ordered lots of berry plants in spring 2021, knowing that I wouldn't get even a small crop until summer 2022. Then life got in the way and I planted them later than intended, mid-May 2021.
All of the plants have done well but Anne has been outstanding. We've gotten dozens of berries off of it in the fall of 2021.

10/25/2021Bought 10 plants in 2020 and all grew well and produce a small amount of tasty berries. 2021 crop has been excellent with many additional canes and plenty of large flavorful berries. This has become our favorite raspberry.

09/02/2021Hate to give this a 3 star as the fault has less to do with the quality of the plant, or Nourse, but more the Zone range. Having read other reviews (here and elsewhere) I can only conclude that Zone 7 is probably pushing the limit for Anne. We are borderline Zone 7a--7b. Of 20 plants total only 3 survived. We replaced those that died and only 2 of the replacements survived. The plants that survived are weak and pathetic looking, though they did produce a few berries, and they were excellent. We have purchased 5 other varieties from Nourse and all have done well. Disappointed these will probably not do well for us, and having eliminated most other possibilities I have to assume zone 7a/b is just too hot.
