Tested as K06-2, this variety was released by Andrews Jamieson at Kentville, Nova Scotia. A cross between ‘Glen Ample x ‘K93-11,’ the strong canes are spineless and shown to be moderately winter hardy. The conical fruit are large, firm, light to medium in color with exceptional flavor. AAC Eden early results show it to be a great mid-season choice to trial when looking for a variety with high productivity and flavor.

Reviews

The plants are vigorous and productive but the fruit is very bland compared to my primocane BP-1

In the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, Eden has severe winter injury. We had to get rid of them.

Bought 25 bare root plants to start my berry operation. Got them on time, and planted within a day. Then 2 nights of frost the latest in 40 years. I was worried. However only 2 seem a little slow, the rest are growing really well. Can not wait to see some fruit on them but for now I rate them high because they surprised me by coming on after the freeze that destroyed all my fruit tree set fruit. I did cover them slightly with a black cloth but not sure it was necessary. I really like these plants. I even got some starts on the over large roots I trimmed so all in alll an awesome value.
