That’s a Wrap: Reflecting on Another Sweet Season
To our Berry Tent customers,
As another berry season comes to an end, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you.
Whether you stopped by once or made the Berry Tent part of your weekly routine, your support has meant so much to all of us. Seeing the smiling faces of our customers helped make this season one to remember.
And what a season it was!
Our Berry Tent was open from June 1st through August 8th, a total of 50 days—the longest season we’ve ever had! This year, the stars of the show were strawberries, raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries.
By the Numbers
Throughout the season, we celebrated 3,191 transactions and sold:
- 6,704 quarts of strawberries
- 996 pints of blueberries
- 2,568 half-pints of red raspberries
- 924 half-pints of blackberries
- 840 half-pints of black raspberries
These numbers are a true reflection of the incredible support and enthusiasm our customers showed throughout the season!
Behind every one of those berries is a tremendous amount of hard work. Our picking crew picked approximately 166,029 pounds of berries this season.
Our picking crew deserves every bit of credit and praise. This team is out in the fields at 7:00 every morning, working long, hot days to ensure fresh fruit is available for local farm stands, markets, and our very own Berry Tent.
They are truly the backbone of what we do, and we couldn’t provide fresh, delicious berries to our community without their incredible hard work and dedication.
Meet the Berry Crew!
We couldn’t have made this season happen without the amazing crew behind the tent.
From early mornings to busy afternoons, these young women worked hard to keep the tent stocked, organized, and welcoming for every customer who stopped by. Their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitudes made a difference every single day—and they brought plenty of laughter and personality along the way. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions.

“It’s hard to choose just one favorite memory from the berry stand, but if I had to choose, it would be going out to the tent to film skits and content for our social media. There was always so much laughter and happiness radiating from everyone, whether they were involved or simply a bystander. I’m going to miss the fresh berries over the coming fall and winter, but I can’t wait for the next berry season!”

These memories may seem like little moments, but they’re exactly what makes the Berry Tent more than just a place to buy fresh fruit. It’s a place where our team gets to know our customers, where families make summer memories, and where the hard work on our farm is shared directly with our community.

Sharing the fruits of our labor with our community is truly at the heart of Nourse Farms. Seeing familiar faces return to the tent year after year is one of the most rewarding parts of the season and a wonderful reminder of the connection we share with our community.
