On September 21, 2025, Nourse Farms participated in "Will Bike 4 Food," an annual cycling fundraiser organized by the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. This event brings together cyclists of all levels to ride various distances, all in support of alleviating hunger in Western Massachusetts, home to Nourse Farms HQ for over 90 years.

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been dedicated to feeding our neighbors in need since 1982. They distribute nutritious food to over 200 local agencies, including food pantries, meal sites, and shelters across Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties. Their efforts are crucial, as 1 in 8 people in Western Massachusetts faces food insecurity. 

This year, the Nourse Farms Will Bike 4 Food team rode with extra purpose. Our shirts honored the memory of our beloved colleague, whose kindness and dedication continue to inspire us every day. We ride for hunger relief—and for Jim. Nourse Farms raised $1,048 for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. For every dollar raised, the Food Bank can provide three meals to families in our community—that means we've helped provide over 3,000 meals! Together, we make miles matter, and every mile brings us closer to a future without hunger.
