With high yields of large berries, Albion is one of the most popular day-neutral varieties. The fruit is firm, has a good flavor, and is red. A good watering and nutrient program is necessary to attain high yields, while increased plant spacing to 18” will allow the fruit to reach maximum size. Albion is resistant to Verticillium wilt and phytophthora crown rot and shows some resistance to anthracnose crown. This variety is recommended for U-pick and roadside/fresh market operations.
