Encore is vigorous, sturdy, upright, nearly spineless, and has excellent winter hardiness. Berries are large with very cohesive drupelets and good raspberry flavor. Encore is a good choice for extending the summer raspberry-picking season and offers high yields required by commercial growers. This variety is perfect for U-pick and roadside/fresh market operations.
