Sonata Strawberry
CommercialSonata comes from a cross of Elsanta and Polka, two high-performing Dutch varieties. Sonata expresses good plant vigor and shows tolerance to Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae) and good winter hardiness. Sonata is productive and produces large, uniform, and conic-shaped berries with a glossy, bright red appearance. For best results, optimum rates of magnesium and nitrogen are required. Thanks to its consistent performance and high yields, Sonata is highly recommended for roadside/fresh market operations.
